The Northern Lass Lounge wants our relationship to be as seamless and transparent as possible so we can continue to support you in the right way. Updated and effective from 31-December-2025.


Payment

Monthly Membership (£10/month)
Monthly payments will be automatically taken from your bank on the date you sign up. This is a rolling monthly membership with no minimum term.

You may terminate your membership at any point by filling in this form.

Annual Membership (if applicable)
If an annual option is offered, yearly payments will be taken at the advertised discounted rate. This payment is non-refundable and renews automatically 12 months from the date you signed up.

You may terminate your membership at any point by filling in the cancellation form.

The Northern Lass Lounge reserves the right to terminate your membership without penalty (see "Termination of Membership").


Membership Access

As a member, you will have access to:

  • The full Training Library inside The Lounge Suite

  • All existing courses and resources

  • All previous recordings of live sessions.

  • Any future live sessions recorded in the Facebook group by Kylie will be uploaded to the library for members to watch again later.

There is no exclusive Facebook group attached to this membership.

You will instead continue to have access to our free main Facebook community, The Northern Lass Lounge, which currently serves over 6,500 members and provides ongoing community support, networking, and conversation.


Kylie Dixon and The Northern Lass Lounge reserve the right to remove training from the Library if it becomes out of date (or for any reason).

You may terminate your membership at any point by filling in this form.

Tickets & Discounts

This membership no longer includes discounts on events, merchandise, or tickets.

All event tickets (online or in person) purchased by members or non-members are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to change or update event policies at any time.


Content

All training is created from the Lounge Team’s own experience, knowledge, and opinion.

The Training Library includes pre-recorded content, previous live sessions, and future recordings delivered by Kylie or the team.

All information is accurate at the time of recording. Social media platforms and online tools change frequently, and while we periodically update training, we cannot be held responsible for changes made by third-party platforms. Out of date training may be removed from the app without warning.

Fresh recordings may be added to the library in future but there is no guarantee of volume or frequency of new content.


Confidentiality

The main Northern Lass Lounge Facebook community is a supportive space, but it is not an exclusive or private membership group. Please be mindful that anything shared within the free community is visible to all members of that space.

No personal or sensitive information shared with team members privately will ever be disclosed to third parties, unless legally required.


Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated or modified from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. You will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the membership after such changes constitutes acceptance.

All training, resources, downloads, and materials are for your personal use only.
Reproduction, sharing, resale, or distribution is prohibited.
Misuse or breach will result in legal action.


Inclusivity

Women-Only Membership Policy

The Northern Lass Lounge is a community and network exclusively for women business owners. We aim to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space tailored to the unique experiences, challenges, and opportunities faced by women in business.

In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, we are legally permitted to offer a single-sex membership to women as a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim. Our mission is to address the underrepresentation of women in business networking, provide resources and support designed specifically for women, and foster a sense of community among women business owners.

Inclusivity Statement

While we proudly focus on supporting women, we are also committed to inclusivity. We warmly welcome all individuals who identify and live as women, including cisgender women and transgender women, into our community.

We are committed to maintaining an inclusive and respectful environment for all members.

Exclusion of Men

Due to the specific aims and purpose of this membership, we do not extend membership to men. This decision is made to uphold the integrity of our mission and ensure the effectiveness of the support we provide. However people of all genders are able to purchase our stand alone courses.

We recognise and respect the importance of diversity in all its forms. Our decision to restrict membership to women is not intended to discriminate but to create a focused environment that fulfils the needs of our members.

Termination of Membership

We reserve the right to cancel any membership at Our sole discretion, at any time, and for any reason. In such cases, we will provide written notice to the member, including the reason for cancellation, where appropriate.

Memberships will never be terminated on grounds related to any protected characteristic as defined by the Equality Act 2010, such as age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation. As above under 'inclusivity' we are a single-sex membership for women so other genders are excluded as detailed.

Your Membership may be terminated immediately on Us giving notice where:

a) You have committed a breach of any of these Terms or Membership Rules, that cannot be remedied or where You have committed such a breach that can be remedied but You fail to do this within 14 days of Us notifying You of such breach;

b) You behave in a manner that is unacceptable towards any Director or team member or Use language that is considered harassing, abusive, offensive, insulting, derogatory or disrespectful;

c) We discover that any information provided by You is false or incorrect or You have withheld material information that is relevant to Your Membership;

d) You infringe the Northern Lass Lounge IP or do anything that (in Our view) brings, or is likely to bring the Company’s reputation into disrepute or damages, or is likely to damage, Our goodwill (including any complaints or other allegations about Your conduct or that of any other individual connected to your business);

h) You fail to pay any Fees or other sums when due in accordance with these Terms;

or i) for any reason, We consider it appropriate to terminate Your Membership to safeguard Our reputation or the safety or wellbeing of our team of administrators, Directors and wider community.

We can without notice, terminate Your Membership if any information is received from Trading Standards or the Police or any other that indicates You are in breach of our Terms or that You have acted (or are acting) in a manner which damages Our goodwill or is likely to bring the Company’s reputation into disrepute (although We may not be able to share such information with You due to confidentiality obligations or other legal restrictions).

We can without notice, terminate Your Membership if a legal decision indicates You have acted in breach of these Terms or that You have acted in a manner which damages Our goodwill or is likely to bring the Company’s reputation into disrepute.

You may terminate Your Membership ‘for cause’ on giving Us written notice, where

(a) We have committed a breach of any of these Terms that cannot be remedied or where We have committed such a breach that can be remedied but fail to do this within 14 days of You notifying Us of such a breach; or

(b) where We provide You with notice of a modification or update to these Terms or variation to the Fees that You do not accept, provided You terminate Your Membership prior to the date of such modification, update or variation coming into effect.

(c) for any reason, with at least 48 hours notice before your next payment is due.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER TERMINATION?

Termination of Your Membership shall be without prejudice to the rights of either party, which accrued prior to the date of such termination including any outstanding payment obligations.

If Your Membership is terminated:

A - by Us for whatever reason:

a) You shall not be entitled to a refund of Your Membership Fee paid

b) You will be informed via email of the termination; we will not be obligated to share the details of this beyond what is stated in this policy

c) Your access to online content, groups, communities, invitations to events and all forms of communication will be stopped immediately.

d) You will be marked as uncontactable in our database

B - by You legitimately under these Terms where we are at fault:

a) You shall be entitled to a refund of Your Membership Fee or any part of it. (unused prorata)

b) We shall cease to take any payments from any existing Card Payment Authorisation or Direct Debit upon termination.

c) You may request your details are removed from our database entirely; otherwise you will remain on our email list and may be contacted in future.

C - by You legitimately under these Terms where there is no fault or reason:

a) You shall not be entitled to a refund of Your Membership Fee paid.

b) We shall cease to take any payments from any existing Card Payment Authorisation or Direct Debit upon termination.

c) You may request your details are removed from our database entirely; otherwise you will remain on our email list and may be contacted in future.

When Your Membership terminates: Your right to use the materials associated with The Northern Lass Lounge shall cease immediately and You must remove any reference to Your Membership from all any social media posts and communications without delay; and You must not do or say anything from that date to give the impression that You continue to be a Member or are in some way associated with or endorsed by Us.

Single Training Purchases

Grant of Access

Upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions and successful registration, The Northern Lass Lounge grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the course materials for the specific course via our online platform for your personal and non-commercial use.

Duration of Access

Your access to the Course is conditional upon the existence of the Course on our platform. You will have continuous access to the Course content as long as it remains active and available on our online platform.

Non-Permanence of Course Offering

We reserve the right to discontinue the Course at any time at our sole discretion. Reasons for discontinuation may include, but are not limited to, outdated content, low enrollment, or resource reallocation. We will endeavor to notify you in advance if the Course is to be discontinued.

Notice of Discontinuation

Should the Course be discontinued, we will provide you with reasonable notice, where possible, via email or through a notification on our platform. Upon discontinuation, your access to the Course will terminate, and no further access to the Course content will be available.

No Entitlement to Continuity

The continuation of the Course is not guaranteed. Access to the Course is provided on an "as is" basis, and your use of the Course is subject to the possibility of its discontinuation as described herein.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated or modified from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. You will be notified of any significant changes to these terms and your continued use of the Course after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.

Content

All of the training is created from the Lounge Teams own experiences with a combination of experience and opinion and our live videos are a combination of experience and opinion.

The content in your training may be a mixture of pre-recorded content as well as live downloads from Lounge Team Members regular content in the Next Level Lounge Facebook Group. 

All information is correct at time of recording, Social Media can and does change frequently and we cannot be held responsible for how and when these changes take place to certain platforms, e-commerce sites and social media apps. What we will do is ensure our training is updated periodically and aligned to current social media strategies.

We trust our loungers and we hope you will support us in making this an amazing space for all. Please note ALL materials are for your use only – if found to be in breach of this requirement by misuse of the content, legal remedy will be taken.

Events

For all event tickets including online and in person events which are bought by Next Level members or non members, refunds will not be considered once booked. If you wish to transfer your ticket to another person you can do through a private arrangement but MUST let the Northern Lass Lounge team know with at least 24 hours notice so we have a current list of attendees. Failure to do so could result in the new ticket holder being denied access to the event.

Access and Intolerances

If you require support with access or have any intolerances or allergies to report you must do so with at least 7 days notice in writing to [email protected] - failure to inform us of your requirements means we can not arrange support or suitable food/drink etc and we want all of our events to be accessible to all.

The Northern Lass Lounge is committed to respecting your privacy and the privacy of every member signing up to The Next Level Lounge. The information we collect about you will be used to fulfil the required services and enable us to improve how, as an organisation, we deal with you.

The information that we collect about you will only be used lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018). All data is retained exclusively within the United Kingdom, or transferred only to ‘third countries’ where ‘adequacy of protection’ or specific certification as defined by The GDPR has been confirmed.


This information will not be disclosed to anyone outside The Northern Lass Lounge or its associated companies, partners, and other companies with which The Northern Lass Lounge has arranged services for your benefit.


We expect the information we hold to be accurate and up to date. You have the right as an individual to find out what information we hold about you and make changes if necessary; you also have the right, assuming we are not obligated by law to refuse, to ask us to stop using the information. You are under no statutory or contractual requirement or obligation to provide us with your personal information; however we require at least the information above in order for us to deal with you as a Member or service user in an efficient and effective manner.


The legal basis for processing your data is based on your specific consent and our legitimate interest that we will have requested at the point the information was initially provided, therefore we will not store, process or transfer your data outside the parties detailed above unless we have an appropriate lawful reason to do so. Unless we are precluded from doing so by law, you have the right to remove your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link included on all emails we send, Newsletters or by contacting us and requesting that processing of your details be restricted or deleted.


Unless otherwise required by law, your data will be stored for a period of 2 years after our last contact with you or some other identifiable action or period, at which point it will be deleted.
