We’re beyond excited to share that Holly Matthews will be with us for our Rhinestones & Recognition Awards Night on 25th October at Field and Fodder!

Holly is a former TV actress (yes, Byker Grove and Waterloo Road fans, that’s her!) turned powerhouse self-development coach and founder of The Happy Me Project.

She’s on a mission to help people feel “more happy and less crappy” - and trust us, she’s hilarious, inspiring, and totally real... a perfect fit for the Northern Lass Lounge awards!!

But here’s the thing we really love about Holly: she’s been through the wringer and come out stronger. In 2017, she became a widowed single mum at just 32 after her husband passed away. Instead of letting life knock her down, she turned her experiences into a project that helps others build confidence, resilience, and embrace their uniqueness.

Oh, and did we mention? Holly is neuro-spicy and openly shares her journey to show that being different is a superpower.

Basically, Holly is MINT - she is fun, fearless, and full of sparkle - exactly the energy we need as we celebrate this year’s winners. We can’t wait to have her with us and hear her powerful message!
